SeniorCalc is built on a simple principle: your financial information is yours. We designed this site so that we collect as little as possible — and we never use what we do collect to identify or contact you.

What we collect

Calculator inputs

Nothing. All calculations happen entirely in your browser. Income figures, filing status, and any other inputs you enter into any SeniorCalc tool are never sent to our servers. They exist only on your device.

localStorage

SeniorCalc stores your recent calculations in your browser's local storage under the key prefix seniorcalc:. This data lives only on your device. You can clear it at any time using the "Clear history" button in any calculator, or by clearing your browser's site data.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate usage patterns — which pages are visited, how long people stay, and what tools are most useful. GA4 collects IP addresses, browser type, and general geographic region. We do not use this data to identify individuals. You can opt out using a browser extension such as the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.

Contact form

If you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message. This information is used only to respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list or share your details with third parties.

Advertising

SeniorCalc may display Google AdSense advertisements. Google may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to serve relevant ads. For more information, see Google's advertising policies. You can manage your Google ad preferences at adssettings.google.com.

Cookies

SeniorCalc itself sets one functional cookie: your theme preference (light/dark). Google Analytics and Google AdSense may set additional cookies for analytics and advertising purposes.

Children's privacy

SeniorCalc is designed for adults. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13.
